Been having a lil bit of a hard time at Uni, them asking too many questions on my purpose and passion. Even proposing that I should maybe consider leaving.

But the holidays rolled around a few days later and I escaped to Auckland, my parents house. Where a lot of my artsy, creative wants, could finally be done... In the last few weeks I've become really interested in puppetry, masks and shadows, so as a result, it was not surprising a lot of what I've been doing it focused on this...

I made a skull, and a skeleton glove for a hand held puppet, I just need to cast it, but it's going sweet. Getting my hands on resin is hard and expensive. Plus the fact I've never used it before... I believe I will be doing a lot of soul searching on the internet for hints, tips and tutorials.

Making a Scar mask from the Lion King in much the same way... Its hard going as though I've really good source images, getting the sizing right is hard! I think I've just got to crack into it, planning to do so today...

I'M STILL! Working on a shadow film of POTO... I've pretty much decided that Stephen Buntrock is my Phantom, I can't get enough of him. And the recording I've got is near perfect too no random outbursts of applause so I'm ecstatic. Just working pre-storyboard first... clarify my ideas. I'll post it here.

I got a book out of the library on Shadow films and found an easier way to do them, though still the same anount of time and effort involved the effects should be tenfold better... no more fluttering image as I get a constant light source...

So yeah! Thats all... My munny is finished and I want to make another... But I maybe stuck waiting until September when the new generation is released... Uh!
